Baby GG and cradle

Not much sculpting going on lately. I know I have neglected my blog. I have been working on the weekends and working on the house during the week. My mother has also been sick with heart problems and my 33 year old son had a heart attack, both in October. With prayers from everyone and our loving God, they are both doing a lot better.
I made this 4 inch baby for my friend GG in New Orleans. She told me she wanted a baby to fit her new baby cradle. So this is the one I came up with for her. I dressed her in a tiny little white bishop with pink rosebuds all the way around the neck. This is my cradle so now I have to make a baby to go in it. GG found a man in New Orleans that makes these tiny little cradles. They are really beautiful. I don't know if you can tell how pretty they are. Anyways....He even makes them smaller than this one. I am thinking really miniature for doll houses. I like this one in the natural wood color but I think they would be really pretty in white. What do you think? I am thinking about another doll show around March of 2010. If I could find some miniature doll shows I would try to go if they were not to far off. Anything around the southern states. If anyone knows of any please let me know. I am going to go and get some Bishops cut out and pleaded so my grandaughters baby dolls will have some new clothes. Talk to yall later.

I didn't have a lot done for the show, because I found out about it at the last minute. I could have sold 50 of the little baby boy in the crib. I only had one. But I nearly sold out of everything. Now I have to get busy and make more. I had so much fun. I was the only one there with the OOAK dolls. You should come and join us next year. You never know how you will do unless you try it.

Well I de clare, I have not posted in quite a while. I have not been able to sew because my sewing machine has been on the blink. We are back in the groove now and sewing and sculpting again. I am getting ready for my second doll show. It will be held in New Orleans, LA. The show is *Les Enfants d'Antan* it will be held October 10, 2009. I am really getting excited about going. I will be making my one of kind babies from 2 inches to 8 inches, clothing that will fit these babies and little bears for the ooak babies.

I finally decided to list Gracie. I couldn't decide if I wanted to dress her in one of my bishops or a onesie. I decided on the bishop. I think she really looks sweet.

Baby Nickie and Baby Powder

I think these little babies are so sweet in the Summer Sweater Diaper Sets. I use embroidery thread to crochet these. I use no patterns for these little outfits. So they are usually OOAK's just like my babies.

Well gotta go sew. Baby Powder sold and I have no more little bears to sell.

OOAK2 1/2 inch Mini Bear "Rosebud

I AM HAVING A BALL MAKING THESE TINY LITTLE BEARS. THEY ARE SO MUCH FUN TO MAKE AND LOOK GREAT WITH THE BABIES. I HAVE BEEN TRYING OUT SEVERAL DIFFERENT FABRICS JUST TO SEE WHAT KIND OF LITTLE BEARS THEY WILL MAKE. THE SOFT BABY FABRICS ARE REAL EASY TO WORK WITH AND ADD A SPECIAL TOUCH TO THE BABIES AND THE CLOTHING THAT I MAKE. I AM GOING TO TRY TO KEEP EACH ONE OF THEM AS INDIVIDUAL AS POSSIBLE.

Baileys Baby doll

Bailey is an 8 inch OOAK she is holding her baby doll 2 1/2 inch jointed baby sculpted from Pro Sculpt Polymer Clay. Her outfit is a white crocheted dress, panties and bonnet with baby blue ribbon.

Bailey is wearing a Pink and White Smocked Bishop and Bonnet.

This is my new crafting project. Embroidered bears.
I think these little bears are so cute with the ooak babies. Not terrible hard to make, just a little time is involved.

I need to get in here and make a few more. I have a couple of ladies wanting a little bear for their babies.
